On May 26, 2026, the Network Agreement between eleven hospital foundations and non-profit organizations of Piedmont was signed in Turin, with the support of the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and in coordination with the Piedmont Region’s Department of Health.
Among the participating entities is the Fondazione Medicina a Misura di Donna ETS. The Agreement was created to strengthen the collaboration between the public healthcare system and the Third Sector and to contribute to a more integrated healthcare system that is closer to local communities.
This is the first structured experience of its kind in Italy. The Network aims to foster dialogue between organizations active in the hospital and socio-health sectors, enhance widespread expertise, and promote new forms of collaboration to support the regional healthcare system.
Hospital foundations and non-profit organizations play an increasingly important role in supporting research, innovation, fundraising, understanding needs, and promoting community well-being.
For the Fondazione Medicina a Misura di Donna, joining the Agreement represents a step consistent with its work alongside healthcare institutions, the University, the Sant’Anna Hospital, and the community, to support projects focused on women’s health and quality of care.
