We Believe in “Tailored Medicine”
Medicine that starts with each woman’s story to build increasingly personalized prevention and care pathways
The foundation
Fondazione Medicina a Misura di Donna is a non-profit organization that has been working since 2009 to improve women’s health and care, focusing on their needs and expectations.
Born from a concrete and shared vision, the Foundation promotes a culture of women’s health as a fundamental value for the well-being of the entire community.
Our operational headquarters are at Sant’Anna Hospital in Turin, one of Europe’s largest centers for gynecology and obstetrics. It was here that we developed our first projects, starting with listening to patients, families, staff, and students.
In collaboration with institutions and healthcare professionals, we have contributed to building an increasingly innovative, welcoming, and person-centered care model, creating concrete and replicable projects focused on prevention, improving the care experience, and patients’ quality of life.
What We Believe In
Our Mission
We collaborate with institutions and citizens to improve the well-being of the community and the quality of care. We promote prevention, training, research, and technological updates. We are committed every day to making our hospitals more innovative and attentive to women’s needs.
Increase awareness and information in society regarding prevention.
Rethink Healthcare starting from women's perspectives and needs.
Increase safety during care pathways and humanize hospital spaces.
Support scientific and technological research.
Support the acquisition of new-generation diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
Promote the professional growth and well-being of healthcare workers and volunteers.
“We apply the latest scientific discoveries and technological innovations to women's health, adopting a bio-psycho-social approach that looks beyond pathology. We focus on increasingly personalized care, based on prevention and the awareness that well-being stems from lifestyle: this is the core of our daily work."
